The lighter side

Since my last several posts have been on the long, serious side, I'm taking the easy way out today.

Here's a photo set from Flickr, Stick figures in Peril

This being a music theory blog, I searched for ones that dealt with music. Some of the content is PG-13, and the photos/opinions expressed on that Flickr page are not the photos/opinions of the Texas Tech Theory Department.

Also, in preparation for a history of rock course that I'm teaching, I've spent a lot of time on YouTube looking for music videos (research is tough...). I've always been a big fan of Bjork, but I don't know that I'd ever seen any of her videos other than Human behavior. This video, for "Oh so quiet," was directed by Spike Jonze and is, well... just watch it.

Another favorite (also by Spike Jonze) is the video for the Beastie Boys' "Sabotage."

Enjoy! I'm sure there's plenty to analyze in both, but not today...
